Service for Every Whirlpool AC Model
Whirlpool offers inverter split ACs with features such as convertible cooling modes and 6th Sense technology, along with window models. These features depend on sensors and the control board, so we test them properly during diagnosis rather than replacing parts on assumption.
Whirlpool AC Services We Offer in Darjeeling
We cover both routine care and complex repairs for Whirlpool AC owners:
- Installation and uninstallation: we install split and window ACs with the correct bracket, level indoor unit and a vacuumed refrigerant circuit.
- Sensor and thermostat faults: if your AC stops cooling before the room is cool, a faulty sensor is often the reason.
- Remote and display problems: when the AC does not respond to its remote, we check the receiver, display board and remote itself.
- Regular service and jet wash: a thorough clean of both indoor and outdoor units using covers and a jet pump, so dirt goes into the bag and not onto your walls.
- Copper piping and drain work: replacing damaged copper pipes, re-insulating lines and extending drain pipes where needed.
- Noise and vibration repair: rattling, humming or grinding sounds traced to their source and fixed properly.
- Compressor diagnosis: we check the capacitor, overload and wiring first, because many so-called compressor failures are actually cheaper parts.
- Fan motor and capacitor replacement: repair or replacement of indoor blower motors, outdoor fan motors and weak run capacitors.
- Inverter AC repair: diagnosis of inverter boards, sensors and variable-speed compressors using the model's error codes.
Signs Your Whirlpool AC Needs Attention
These are the complaints we attend most often in Darjeeling:
- AC tripping the MCB: repeated tripping should be checked quickly to avoid damage.
- Remote not working: the AC stops responding to commands even with fresh batteries.
- AC turning off by itself: sensor faults, voltage issues or overheating protection kicking in.
- Ice forming on pipes or coil: low gas, restricted airflow or a faulty sensor.
- Outdoor unit not starting: often a capacitor, contactor or wiring issue between indoor and outdoor units.
- Bad smell from the vents: mould and bacteria on a wet, dirty coil, cleared with a proper service.
- Error code or blinking lights: we read the code for your specific model and test the part it refers to.
