AC Care Tips from Our Technicians
You can avoid many breakdowns with a little care:
- Set the temperature around 24°C; it cools comfortably and saves power.
- Keep curtains drawn in rooms that get strong afternoon sun.
- Keep the outdoor unit in a shaded, open spot with space for air to flow.
- Do not agree to a gas top-up without a leak check; gas does not get used up on its own.
- Get a full service before summer starts, not after the AC begins to struggle.
Local Conditions and Your AC in Manteswar
ACs in Manteswar, West Bengal deal with both high temperatures and heavy humidity. A clean coil and a clear drain line are what keep a O General AC cooling well and smelling fresh, so those are the first things our technicians check.
Is Your O General AC Showing Any of These Issues?
These are the complaints we attend most often in Manteswar:
- Loud or unusual noise: loose panels, a worn fan motor or a vibrating outdoor unit.
- Not cooling enough: usually a dirty coil, clogged filter, low refrigerant or a weak capacitor.
- Water dripping indoors: water on the wall or floor usually points to a blocked drain line.
- Ice forming on pipes or coil: frost on the copper pipes is a sign the system is not balanced.
- AC turning off by itself: the unit shuts down after a few minutes and restarts later.
